Rules & Guidelines for Outpatients (OPD)

OPD Registration & Schedule
  • To ensure smooth and organized outpatient services, all patients must complete OPD registration before consultation.

OPD Registration Timings
  • Morning: ⏰ 08:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Evening: ⏰ 04:00 PM – 07:00 PM

Registration Process
  • Patients must collect a token from the help desk

  • Registration fees must be paid at the time of registration

  • Consultation is strictly based on token number and availability

Doctor Consultation Guidelines
  • Patients must enter the doctor’s chamber only when their token number is called

  • Patients should be present during the doctor’s scheduled OPD hours

  • No medicine, test, or treatment plan should be changed without the doctor’s approval

  • Follow-up visits should carry previous prescriptions and reports

Treatment Process & Conduct
  • Strictly follow the doctor’s advice and prescribed treatment

  • Loud talking, arguments, or disruptive behavior in OPD areas are not allowed

  • Patient medical records and personal information are maintained confidentially by the hospital

Payment & Billing Policy
  • OPD registration and consultation charges must be cleared in advance

  • Any pending dues must be immediately reported to the hospital authorities

  • Receipts should be preserved for future reference

Medicines & Diagnostic Tests
  • Prescribed medicines should be purchased only from the hospital pharmacy

  • Diagnostic tests advised for OPD patients must be conducted only in SKNH’s designated laboratory

  • Outside medicines or test reports may not be accepted unless approved by the doctor

Rules for Patients & Attendants
  • Only one attendant is allowed per patient in the OPD

  • Attendants must help maintain discipline, cleanliness, and hygiene

  • Smoking, outside food, spitting, or noise pollution inside the hospital is strictly prohibited

Doctor Consultation Timings
  • Doctors are available only during their scheduled OPD timings

  • Patients are requested to cooperate in case of delays due to emergencies

  • For urgent cases, immediately contact the help desk

Cleanliness & Hygiene Protocols
  • Use hand sanitizers placed at designated locations

  • Follow hospital hygiene and safety instructions

  • Maintain cleanliness in OPD waiting areas and consultation rooms

Emergency Support in OPD
  • In case of sudden medical emergencies, inform the help desk immediately

  • Separate facilities are available for emergency care within the OPD premises

  • Hospital staff are trained to provide immediate assistance

General Instructions
  • Always carry patient documents, prescriptions, and receipts

  • Inform hospital staff in advance in case of delays or appointment changes

  • Any misconduct or damage to hospital property may result in penalties
