Ultrasonography (USG) is a non-invasive, real-time diagnostic imaging modality that uses high-frequency sound waves. The procedure is operator-dependent and image quality may vary depending on patient body habitus, bowel gas, motion, anatomical limitations, and technical factors beyond control.

USG has inherent diagnostic limitations and may not detect all pathological conditions, especially early-stage diseases, small lesions, deep-seated abnormalities, or conditions obscured by gas, bone, or obesity. Additional imaging (CT/MRI) or laboratory tests may be required for accurate diagnosis.

This report is based solely on findings observed at the time of examination and represents a snapshot in time. Medical conditions may evolve, and findings may change. Therefore, report validity is limited and subject to clinical correlation and time progression.

This report must be interpreted in conjunction with clinical history, physical examination, and other diagnostic findings. It should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment, or medico-legal decisions.

The accuracy of interpretation depends on complete and truthful disclosure of medical history, symptoms, and previous reports by the patient. The centre is not responsible for errors arising due to incomplete, incorrect, or withheld information.

Follow-up scans, repeat imaging, or additional diagnostic procedures may be advised for confirmation, monitoring, or clarification of findings. Absence of findings at one point does not exclude future development of disease.

Certain incidental findings may be detected, while some abnormalities may remain undetected due to technical or biological limitations. The centre shall not be held liable for such limitations inherent to the modality.

USG is not a substitute for emergency medical evaluation. Any acute or life-threatening condition must be immediately assessed clinically by a qualified physician or emergency service.

All ultrasound examinations are strictly conducted under PCPNDT Act regulations. Gender determination or related inquiries are illegal and strictly prohibited. Any violation will be reported as per law.

The centre, radiologist, and staff shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential outcomes arising from interpretation, misinterpretation, delayed diagnosis, or decisions made solely based on this report without proper clinical consultation.
